From graffiti on walls and canvases, through my first custom designs on my own sneakers, to collaborations with global brands. It’s a journey driven by passion, hard work, and constant growth.
Graffiti was my first passion. At the age of 7, trains covered in graffiti caught my attention and sparked my interest in drawing and street art. In 2017, that passion led me to my first job in the sneaker customization industry, where I learned the foundations of customizing and restoring footwear.
Doostomz was born from the combination of the letters I used in my graffiti pieces and the word “customz”. My first customs were created on my own sneakers and those of my friends, helping me build the foundation of my portfolio. In October 2019, I officially started my own business and began signing my work under my own name.
One of the biggest turning points came with my first collaboration with Distance and Local Heroes. Around 50 pairs of sneakers were created in 6 different designs. The response to the project gave me a huge boost and opened the door to further custom sneaker commissions.
A year later came a collaboration with CCC, followed by increasingly ambitious projects. I recreated Lil Uzi Vert’s “Eternal Atake” album artwork on a pair of sneakers and later created a custom inspired by Travis Scott’s “Astroworld”. In December 2021, I opened my Etsy store, receiving 135 orders during its first year. Projects such as Dragon Ball Custom, Postcard from Italy and Casino Custom became important milestones in my creative journey, with some reaching millions of views on social media.
In September 2023, I launched the store you are looking at today. Since then, Doostomz has continued to grow through new projects and collaborations with brands such as Plush, SNIPES, SKStore and The Federal Savings Bank. From brand activations and limited editions to custom sneakers created for campaigns and events, every project continues to push my work in a new direction.
